Edinburgh-based synth-pop trio Thundermoon formed when longtime pals Lorna Kelly, K Messer, and Shaz Jamieson joined forces to create a gender-bending synth sound with spacey harmonies and retro riffs. Their influences include LCD Soundsystem, CHVRCHES, Daft Punk, Underworld, 80’s synth, 90’s dance, and old-school punk.

Their debut EP received support from The Skinny, Plastic Magazine, BBC Rapal, Jim Gelatley, Amazing Radio, Music Mag, Mesmerized & Off The Record. 

In 2024, they are set to release new singles and an EP on New Teeth Records, alongside their debut festival slots at Knockengorroch & Kelburn Garden Party. Their new release has received support from BBC Radio Scotland, with features on The Roddy Hart Show and BBC Introducing in Scotland.
